Skiing is the main sport in the winter season: 500 km of slopes and 200 ski lifts of the newest generation (among which the longest and most exciting slopes of the Dolomites Superski, the Portavescovo slopes), for a unique experience on the snow, which is guaranteed for the whole season given the altitude of the village.

Arabba is a focal point for your ski holidays in Italy: it is, in fact, one of the starting points for the famous Sellaronda tour (or "Tour of the 4 Passes", that straddles the valleys of Fassa, Livinallongo, Badia and Gardena), and from here you can set off for the Giro della Grande Guerra, for the Lagazuoi with its beautiful ice waterfall, and to get to the Marmolada glacier, which boasts of the longest ski slope in the Dolomites Superski Carousel: at 12 km!
